Meet the 2023 Executive Team
At the Beta Alpha Psi USYD Chapter, we have a small but dedicated team of executives who not only serve to organise and provide events for our members but also act as a voice for the Oceania Chapters amongst the broader Beta Alpha Psi International Organisation.
Chris is in his fourth year of Commerce/Laws, with a major in Finance. He will be continuing on with the BAP team as a Co-President after being an Events and Competitions Director in 2022. He joined BAP in 2020 and is keen to continue his contribution in his new role. Chris is also an incredibly lucky guy; he once has held a royal flush in a game of poker.
Kei is one of the Co-Presidents leading the BAP team in 2023. He is studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Laws and is in his 4th year. Kei joined BAP in 2021 and has been an active member ever since. Kei is definitely a unique character: he can speak three languages (bet you can’t guess the third) and only got into Harry Potter last year!
Please say hi to Kei at the next event if you have any questions about becoming an associate member of BAP
Genevieve is the 2023 General Manager, building off her experience as Sponsorships Director in 2022. She is a fourth year Bachelor of Commerce/Law student majoring in Finance. Outside of university, Genevieve is a DJ and an avid athlete playing anything from basketball to fencing.
Communications and Careers Director
Mannie is the Communications and Careers Director for BAP in 2023. He is studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Advanced Studies. He is in his 4th year and majors in Professional Accounting and Finance. He joined BAP in 2021 as a Communications subcommittee member, but is very keen to take the helm of the Communications portfolio this year. In his spare time, Mannie loves watching the NBA and playing the bass guitar.
Events and Competitions Director
Ella is a second year Bachelor of Laws and Commerce student. Ella majors in Finance but also has interests in entrepreneurship and start-ups. She joined BAP in 2021 after moving from Perth to Sydney and has really enjoyed the connections she has made. Ella is very excited to continue fostering a sense of community within BAP through the growth of our network within and beyond USYD. Outside of uni, Ella is heavily involved with Surf Life Saving and loves spending time at the beach.
Events and Competitions Director
Tom is an Events and Competitions Director for BAP in 2023. He is in his 2nd year of a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Econometrics. He works part-time in funds management alongside his studies, and loves hiking, playing music, and following Australian politics.
Jack is a Marketing Director for BAP in 2023. He is a fourth year student studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Advanced Studies, majoring in Finance and Professional Accounting. Jack joined BAP at the start of 2022 in the Marketing subcommittee and is looking forward to spread awareness about BAP through our marketing channels. Outside of uni, he loves to stay active through the gym, mountain biking and the beach.
Ryan will be one of our Marketing Directors in 2023. He is a fourth year student studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Advanced Studies, majoring in Finance and Professional Accounting. Ryan joined BAP at the start of 2021 in the Events subcommittee and is keen to further contribute to BAP's digital brand strategy. Outside of uni, he enjoys cycling to new places and talking about anything related to sport!
Josh is the 2023 sponsorships director at BAP, and is a final year commerce student majoring in Finance and Data Science. He joined BAP in 2021 as an Events and Competitions subcommittee member, and he is excited to take up the opportunity to communicate directly with sponsors and enhance our already strong relationships. Feel free to have a chat to him about anything sport related - namely basketball, water-polo, tennis and rugby (league). He also enjoys playing chess and having board game nights (but be weary, he might get competitive).
Janine teaches financial and management Accounting at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has been the recipient of a number of teaching awards. Prior to joining academia Janine worked as an accountant for a number of leading Australian and Global organisations including those in banking, oil & gas, television and telecommunications. Her experience has been gained in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.
The Faculty Advisor role involves mentoring the chapter, providing references so good that potential employers not only want to hire, but also adopt, Beta Alpha Psi students and being an enthusiastic (but not before 10am) and supportive member of the team. Janine believes no member of BAP should ever leave one of our events hungry.
After a successful role as President in 2019, and Co-Chair since 2020, Jeff will be continuing his work with Beta Alpha Psi as a Co-Chair in 2023. In 2020, Jeff represented Australia in the Global CFA Institute Research Challenge Team, and became the first Australian team to ever win the competition as world champions. Jeff proudly flies the BAP flag everywhere he goes. He is a very down to earth and caring person, and is always free to have a chat about absolutely anything. Jeff studied a peculiar combination of Physics, Economics and Finance - ask him why! Jeff works as an employee within Asset Management at a major investment bank. He is also passionate about analytical & scientific communication in the workforce, along with financial literacy for all. Say hi to Jeff and he will gladly show you yet another opportunity on offer!

He works full-time in the CBD, currently in an accounting role. In the summer you’ll be sure to find him playing Mosman 5-a-side by day and hitting Manly by night. His interests include sports and travelling - please hit him up if you have any questions about BAP, juggling commitments, or want to hear about why the Aussies are a lock for the RWC next year.
Sunanda will be in her fifth year of Commerce/Laws in 2023, with a major in Accounting. She will be continuing on with the BAP team as the Co-Chair after being a Co-Chair in 2022. Please say hi at the next event if you have any questions about becoming an associate member of BAP.
