 Meet the 2020 Executive 
At the Beta Alpha Psi USYD Chapter, we have a small but dedicated team of executives who not only serve to organise and provide events for our members but also act as a voice for the Oceania Chapters amongst the broader Beta Alpha Psi International Organisation.
Lily Zheng 
Lily joined BAP in her second year, and was the Competitions Director in 2019. She is currently studying a Commerce/Law degree, majoring in Accounting. She very much enjoys meeting new people and is always keen for a chat - so definitely come say hi to her and be sure to ask her all about her BAP experiences at our next event! In her spare time, she enjoys exploring art galleries and museums, watching movies and taking long walks down the beach.
Dhivyen Aaron

Dhivyen joined BAP in his first year in 2017, as the first Sponsorship Director. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Profesional Accounting and Finance. He has come from Perth to study in Sydney, and has travelled a lot in his life. He loves to meet new people and is always up for a good chat about literally anything. In his spare time, he likes to cook, go to the beach, and explore new places. Please say hello to him at the next event!

Richard Fitzgerald 
Competitions Director
Richard is the 2020 competitions director of Beta Alpha Psi. A committed leader who always looks to
bring fresh ideas and unique insights towards a brighter future for Beta Alpha Psi. Richard spends
the majority of his time outside of University working or travelling the world. Reach out to him if you
have any questions on international BAP competitions or if you are interested in hearing about all
the countries he has visited (totalling over 30 now).
Elishbah Amer

Events Director

Elishbah is the Events Director for Beta Alpha Psi and is excited to bring in new events that inspire and involve. She’s studying a Bachelor of Commerce in professional accounting and information systems, which she believes is essential in an era of business transformations. She’s always willing to try new things and her curiosity has lead her to pursue diverse opportunities including her work experience in Paris. In her free time, you can find her chilling with friends at the $10 steak place near ABS or jamming on the violin with others in the ISL piano room. She’s always up for a chat so feel free to ask her about where Beta Alpha Psi can take you!
Rhys Jennings

Sponsorship Director

Rhys is the current Sponsorship Director for Beta Alpha Psi. He is a second year Bachelor of Commerce/Law student majoring in finance. Make sure to reach out to him if you are wondering how to make the most of the travel opportunities/international case competitions on offer!
Samuel Hain

Communications and Development Director

Sam is responsible for managing the long-term branding strategy of BAP across multiple social media platforms, with a specific focus on educational outreach and periodic content. Studying Commerce and majoring in Finance and International Business, Sam has a particular interest in stratetgy formulation and international expansions with the goal of taking his work overseas! Outside of uni life, Sam is a footy-fanatic and avid beachgoer, make sure to say 'hey' to him at our next event!

Jarrod Chisholm 

Marketing Director

Jarrod is our Marketing Director for 2020, say hi to him at our next event. He is currently completing a Commerce degree with an interesting twist, majoring in Finance and Economics, and minoring in Design! Outside of university, Jarrod works at a global investment bank and is also passionate about consulting. Jarrod is a caring individual who loves to help people, so if you’re ever struggling with anything while at university, he is only a message away!
Jake Magro

Membership Director

Jake was introduced to BAP during his second year of university and has not looked back since. As an inaugural member of the subcommittee in 2019, Jake was heavily involved in the Marketing and External Relations portfolios before becoming the Membership Director for 2020. Heading into next year Jake will be handling all new applications, so if you wish to join and or any questions, don’t hesitate to ask him. Jake loves getting to meet new people and is always up for a chat, so feel free to say hi when you see him around.

Janine Coupe

Faculty Advisor

Janine teaches financial and management Accounting at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has been the recipient of a number of teaching awards. Prior to joining academia Janine worked as an accountant for a number of leading Australian and Global organisations including those in banking, oil & gas, television and telecommunications. Her experience has been gained in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.

The Faculty Advisor role involves mentoring the chapter, providing references so good that potential employers not only want to hire, but also adopt, Beta Alpha Psi students and being an enthusiastic (but not before 10am) and supportive member of the team. Janine believes no member of BAP should ever leave one of our events hungry.

Jeff Brown
After a successful role as President in 2019, Jeff will be continuing his work with Beta Alpha Psi as a Co-Chair in 2020. Jeff proudly flies the BAP flag everywhere he goes. He is a very down to earth and caring person, and is always free to have a chat about absolutely anything. Jeff studies a peculiar combination of Climate Physics and Finance - ask him why! On the side, Jeff works as an employee at a major investment bank and is passionate about scientific communication in the workforce, along with financial literacy for all. Say hi to Jeff and he will gladly show you yet another opportunity on offer!

Alex Zhao

Alex is a Co-Chair for BAP in 2020, after an array of experience in travelling to the US to represent Beta Alpha Psi USYD in the International BAP Annual Meeting in 2017 and serving as Vice President in 2019. Ask her more about how she got there and 'Project run with it' when you bump into her. She loves to travel and engage with a whole range of cultures and experiences, and is a wonderful advocate for meeting new people and sharing stories.
