As a member of Beta Alpha Psi you will have exclusive access to our events, including small networking events and the opportunity for international travel. If you are looking at getting the edge over other students when applying for vacation programs or graduate positions, Beta Alpha Psi is for you.
 
Eligibility Requirements
 
Beta Alpha Psi is a prestigous and selective honours society and as such places eligibility and participation requirements on membership
 
We have two tiers of membership; associate and full members. Associate membership allows you to experience the society prior to becoming a full member. Anyone interested in becoming a full member of Beta Alpha Psi must be an associate member for at least one semester prior to being initiated as a full member. This is to ensure your commitment to the society.

Associate Member

Full Member

A Peak at the University of Sydney Business School

Eligibility

The student must:

  • Intend to declare a major in accounting, finance or business analytics or digital technology

  • Have completed 24 credit points in their Commerce degree

  • Have attained an average of 70 or higher across their degree

Participation

The student must attend and participate in over a single year at least:

  • 1 x Service Activity

  • 3 x Professional Activities

  • 50% of chapter meetings

Eligibility

The student must:

  • Have completed at least one intermediate or senior level accounting, finance or business analytics or digital technology unit of study

  • Have attained an average of 70 or higher across their major-related units of study

  • Have been an associate member for at least one semester and met appropriate participation requirements

  • Pay a lifetime membership fee to Beta Alpha Psi International 

Participation

The student must attend and participate in over a single year at least:

  • 1 x Service Activity

  • 5 x Professional Activities

  • 70% of chapter meetings
